Nanny For 5 Year Old With D.S. In Chapel Hill

We are looking for a nanny for the summer months (June-August, Durham Public School summer break) for approximately 24 hours per week for our 5-year-old who has Down Syndrome. Our son is mostly nonverbal but very expressive, kind and very sweet. A pretty even-keeled kiddo, he enjoys books, video games and playing with balls. We would love someone to keep him active and engaged throughout the week: take him to museums, playgrounds, library and the like. A reliable car is key. Nanny would be responsible for snack/lunch prep during the hours of care. Husband works from home but would be in a different part of the house/unavailable throughout the day. Our son is very capable and understands an awful lot but is also very stubborn. We would need a nanny who is patient, kind and willing to meet him where he is.
