Are you a reliable, proactive, and passionate caregiver looking for your next long-term family? A Chapel Hill family of 5 is excited to meet you! They are looking for full-time care beginning in mid-March, and with three little ones running around, there is never a shortage of fun with the ages and stages that accompany their crew! In the line up, we have their sweet and curious 6-year-old, their adventurous and crafty 4-year-old who is a social butterfly, and their easy-going 1-year-old who is currently working on learning his signs and words. Primary care will be for their youngest, as their oldest is in Kindergarten full-time and their 4-year-old is in Preschool 4 days per week. During the Summer, the nanny will get to enjoy working with all three children, taking them on outings to the pool, museum trips, and any other fun places your heart desires!
Your typical day will consist of transporting the older kids to and from school, engaging their youngest in fun, age appropriate activities, keeping the play areas tidy, and helping with their youngest's meals and dishes. Their older two are encouraged to clean up after themselves as much as they can. A nanny who will support and meet each child where they are developmentally while helping them grow would be a great fit. While no other household tasks will be asked of you, their last nanny gave some extra assistance with things like light household duties, kid's laundry, helping pack lunches, and organizing that was extremely helpful. This added support is not required, but would be greatly appreciated if you enjoy helping with similar tasks! Overall, the family is hoping for a nanny who is collaborative, mature, and truly enjoys working with children. They had a wonderful experience with their last nanny, and she can attest to their positive working relationship if you are interested in hearing her feedback at any point! The family also has a sweet, 7-year-old pup who will bark to greet you then quickly settle down and nap for the remainder of the day. Dog-lovers please apply!
Mom and Dad are both physicians, so dependability and a good track-record of being punctual is essential. However, no crazy hours required-The typical schedule will be Monday- Friday from 8:00 AM- 5:00 PM. They would appreciate some flexibility for a bit of an earlier start or later end time, but usually nothing past 5:30 PM and this would only be occasional. As noted above, the schedule will consist of 45 hours per week and the family is open to guaranteeing overtime. They hope to have a nanny join them long-term and look forward to meeting you!
