Note: When the position begins, the schedule will be Monday-Friday 9 am -1 pm. However, the family would love to adjust the hours to Monday-Friday 9 am -5 pm, once Dad has settled into his job. Are you reliable, proactive, and communicative? Does spending your day with an easy-going and curious 1-year-old sound like a dream? If so, we have the position for you! A family of 3 and their four-legged friend recently settled in Chapel Hill and hope to welcome their nanny soon. Mom has begun her role in the medical field and Dad hopes to land a position in his field soon. While Dad works on finding his perfect role, he would be happy to help the nanny settle into their position, as needed. Their sweet-natured 1-year-old daughter enjoys being around others and exploring her surroundings. So, if you have friends with littles, it's time to schedule the playdates! As an only child, the parents hope to incorporate other children into their daughter's life for socialization. The family enjoys spending time outdoors and being active, so a nanny who enjoys getting out and about and having time for meaningful playing would be ideal. They also value good manners and setting healthy boundaries for their child, so a nanny who is comfortable and willing to do the same would be the best fit. A typical day would include assisting with breakfast and then moving on to more exciting things, such as heading to a local park or museum to explore. Once you've made it back home and lunch is completed, it's nap time. While their daughter naps, they would greatly appreciate assistance with child-related laundry, checking the pantry to see if any child-related foods are running low, tidying up any used areas, and loading and unloading the dishwasher. Being willing to let the dog in and out throughout the day is a must as well! When the position begins, the schedule will be Monday-Friday 9 am -1 pm. This is not a dealbreaker and they are open to transitioning to a new nanny at that time. A nanny with the flexibility to arrive earlier or stay later would be ideal. Once the position moves to full-time the family plans to guarantee 40 hours per week. They hope to find a nanny who would be willing to assist with light household management tasks when they are on vacation throughout the year. Assisting with pet care, meal prepping, or even an organizational project would be much appreciated! This role will be long-term and the family hopes to build a collaborative relationship for the next few years!
