1 Week Of Morning Babysitting For Bright Creative Energetic 5YO In Cary (on The Spectrum)

We are looking for the right person to care for our 5-year-old son (L) for 1 week in December during his preschool holiday (4 mornings, 4 hours a day). L is on the autism spectrum and is demand avoidant (high drive for autonomy). He responds well to caregivers that are positive, creative, observant and engaging. You are the right fit for our family if you have experience caring for children on the spectrum and especially if you are familiar with using positive demand avoidant techniques or open to learning. (For example using statements instead of questions.) L is energetic and silly just like any 5-year-old! He enjoys playing with LEGOs, dramatic play with stuffed animals, building with blocks and playing outside. L understands spoken Spanish fluently. Looking forward to meeting you!
