Part-time Nanny For Energetic Girl (WFH Mom)

We are a family of three who value creativity, a good sense of humor, and close connections. I work from home, serving social good organizations, and my husband is a ceramic artist and director of a ceramics studio in Asheville. Our daughter Lyra is always on the go, loves to be read to, and has an infectious laugh! She enjoys getting to know new people and will quickly let you know exactly what toys and books interest her most. We have outdoor space where she loves to swing, play with the leaves, and look for animals. She is a happy little girl who will bond to you quickly and keep you moving! We are looking for a part time nanny to offer activities for our daughter during her afternoon wake window and to have lunch together. We will likely share the responsibility of putting her down for naps. Hours may shift with her nap schedule, as this gives me the opportunity to focus on work and attend meetings. Even if there is a schedule shift as she gets older, hours will be consistent and between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Experience and excitement for working with toddlers is required. We would love to find a part time nanny who is comfortable setting respectful, clear, and consistent boundaries and is open to communication with us around any tricky behaviors that come up. Energy and fun are a must to keep up with our busy girl! Reliability is essential. We have parking available at our home on a private driveway We have a senior corgi mix (25 lbs on a good day) who will spend most of her time with me. She is a very sweet, loving dog who is great at keeping her distance from our daughter and doing her own thing. No care will be needed for her other than some table scraps and pets!
