Church Nursery

The Nursery Caregiver will provide a safe, loving, and nurturing environment for young children during church services on Sundays. This position ensures children are cared for, engaged in age-appropriate activities, and comfortable during their time in the nursery. The role also involves assisting with the setup and cleanup of the nursery space. Key Responsibilities in Collaboration with Other Nursery Caregiver: Greet and check in children upon arrival, ensuring a smooth transition for both children and parents. Supervise and care for children (infants through school age) during the service hours. Provide age-appropriate activities, such as storytime, songs, and play, to engage and stimulate the children. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized nursery environment, ensuring all toys, supplies, and equipment are in good condition. Be attentive to the children's physical and emotional needs, responding to any concerns or emergencies with care and efficiency. Foster a warm, welcoming atmosphere for both children and parents, offering encouragement and support when needed. Follow church policies and procedures, including health and safety protocols, to ensure the well-being of all children in care.
