About the job
Hello! My name is Kimberly, and I am a homeschooling mom (my kids are 9 & 10). I am also the founding director of Piano Lab (a set of local music-teaching studios) and as of next week: The Asheville Conservatory of the Arts ( a larger, 4500 square ft. complex opening right next to Earth Fare, offering music, art, and movement classes for all ages). This has been a massive undertaking, and we are eager to move forward, even in the midst of this difficult time for our community. Now, more than ever, we feel the need for our children and families to have a safe, warm environment for learning, creativity, healing, & togetherness. I am seeking like-minded tutors, instructors in all three disciplines (in addition to tutoring other school subjects, especially now, as the schools are out of session or only open for half-days). We are looking into partnership with Asheville City Schools to bus children here as well, but I will stop here for now, except to say that we are also seeking additional help in the administrative side of our office.
