My 1yo and I pick up my 3yo from preschool by 5 p.m. each day; then we play, cook and eat dinner, clean up, and get ready for bed. 1yo gets put to bed from 7-7:30 while 3yo plays, and 3yo goes to bed from 7:30-8. Sounds streamlined but it's quite hectic. We're looking for help shepherding the kids between tasks, keeping them safe (including from each other!) while playing, and either occupying them or light cooking/cleaning if they're being clingy.
