If starting your new year with a sweet and cuddly infant sounds like your ideal role, we have the perfect position for you! An Apex family of 4 hopes to welcome a warm, loving, and trustworthy nanny to their home in late December or early January. Their oldest, a talkative 2. 5-year-old who loves all things cars, trucks, and diggers, attends full-time daycare and will only be present when school is out or for minor illnesses, such as ear infections or the common cold. Their youngest will be 4 months old at the start of the position and is on track with all of her developmental milestones. A nanny who is interested in becoming an integral part of the family, enjoys having the autonomy to create age-appropriate activities, and is willing to plan outings as she gets a bit older would be a great fit! Once their daughter is a bit older, the family would love to incorporate baby-led weaning, so a nanny who is comfortable with this is a must! The parents lean into Montessori child-led learning and would greatly appreciate someone who is willing to allow their child to make choices and lead them along the way, over being authoritative. Outside of caring for their child, the family would appreciate someone willing to eventually prepare meals for their daughter, assist with child-related laundry, and tidy up any areas used throughout the day.
The typical schedule will be Monday - Friday between 8:30 am- 5 p.m. and the family plans to guarantee 40 hours per week. If you would be willing to assist with occasional date nights, that would be a huge plus! Both parents work from home and have dedicated office spaces for that. However, a nanny who is confident in their ability to be prompt and reliable is a must! The family hopes to have a nanny join their family for the next 1-2 years until their little one transitions to school.
