Our 4-year-old has severe dairy and egg allergies. Consuming either will most likely end up with his airway closing and needing his EpiPen. It is very important that our caregiver be well knowledgeable about allergies or willing to learn. Our 1-year-old has luckily avoided any allergies so far. Also, my wife's schedule is not set in stone. She has to be at work at 8 but sometimes she gets off at 2 and then sometimes she gets off at 4. It's hard to tell until later in the day.
