My husband and I welcomed our baby girl, T, in summer 2024. At 3 weeks old, she went into acute liver failure and received a transplant at 7 weeks. Now, at almost 7 months, shes a happy, inquisitive, and confident baby who loves playing, trying new purees, going on walks, and "reading" books. While she doesn't need special care, her caretaker must be attentive to signs of organ rejection (fever, vomiting, jaundice) and follow strict hygiene practices, including proper handwashing and avoiding care when sick or knowingly exposed as she is immunosuppressed. Were looking for a reliable, down-to-earth babysitter who is a non-smoker, CPR certified, and vaccinated.
