Description: A warm and loving family in St. Louis City is seeking a nurturing, patient nanny for their 7-month-old. They are looking for a caregiver who supports emotional and sensory development through gentle, one-on-one care, play, and singing. The baby currently naps best when held, and the family avoids the "cry it out" method and no screen time before age two. Drawing inspiration from Montessori, RIE, and emotional coaching, they value a caregiver who fosters curiosity, independence, and emotional intelligence. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, patient, and deeply respectful of the child's unique developmental journey.
Responsibilities: The nanny will take the baby on outings and ensure outdoor playtime. Teaching a secondary language is a plus. Planning weekly developmental activities, fostering sensory exploration, and supporting emotional regulation. As time allows, the nanny will handle bottle and solid feedings and take the baby to Mom for breastfeeding. Additional duties include diapering, following nap routines, and maintaining tidy play areas. Regular communication with parents about the child's progress is essential.
Hours: Flexible based on the nanny's availability, 4 days per week, with shifts of 8. 5-9 hours per day (Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday). 7:30 am-3:30/4:00 pm)
Pay: $25-$30hr

Qualifications: Covid Vaccinated, professional experience caring for infants and toddler-age children. References from childcare centers or families unrelated to you, such as relatives, friends, or colleagues.
