Our family is looking for an energetic, caring person experienced in working with young adults on the autism spectrum to support our son, a 26-year-old male. As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you'll play a crucial role in helping him lead a fulfilling and independent life in his own apartment. You'll be more than just a caregiver; you'll be a mentor, advocate, coach and friend. Your work will involve providing assistance with keeping him safe, helping in daily activities, preparing healthy meals/snacks, promoting social engagement, enhancing overall well being and empowering him to reach his personal goals.
