Safety and Supervision: Maintain a safe and organized environment, overseeing play and learning activities to ensure children's safety, and applying basic first aid as needed. Daily Routines: Assist children with daily tasks such as feeding, hygiene, and transitioning between activities, providing the structure they need to thrive. Communication: Keep clear and open communication with families, sharing updates on each child's progress and daily activities. Team Collaboration: Work closely with fellow daycare staff to create a positive, inclusive, and supportive atmosphere for children and coworkers alike. Required Skills Empathy and Patience: Ability to build positive relationships with children, showing understanding and compassion for each child's unique personality and needs. Creativity: Enthusiastic about designing activities that captivate children's curiosity and encourage playful learning. Strong Organizational Skills: Effectively manage multiple tasks and responsibilities in a busy daycare setting, maintaining a structured yet flexible environment. Effective Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills to engage with children, collaborate with team members, and build trust with parents. Basic Childcare Certification: CPR and First Aid certification is preferred (or willingness to obtain). Qualifications Prior experience in a daycare or childcare setting is highly valued. Reliable transportation to our locations in Downtown St. Louis, Creve Coeur, and O'Fallon. Ability to pass a background check and provide reliable references.
