Part of this is exploring other potentials for a need we have. My wife has Myasthenia Gravis (MG), a neurological autoimmune disorder. She needs lots of rest and must avoid stressing her body; otherwise, she experiences a flare-up where her muscles, even those involved in breathing, can slow down significantly. We're trying to figure out how I, her husband, can work and her not expend so much energy all the time. We don't want another major flare-up requiring hospitalization, as we are currently in the hospital because of one.
