Initial Hours: 8-12 hours per week as an orientation period This is an opportunity for mutual getting-to-know-you time, with emphasis on creating a comfortable, trust-building foundation. Expanding to full time hours during summer months (June - August) Initial Responsibilities: Gradual familiarization with family routines Building positive relationships with children Supervised interactions and gentle engagement Learning family dynamics and child preferences Observing existing family care patterns Participating in low-pressure, fun activities. Getting comfortable with home environment and child care approach Qualifications: Experience with elementary-aged children Experience with developmental diversity
