Our 6-year-old is on the autism spectrum (mild) and has struggled with school after school care due to the lack of structure. Looking for a nanny 20 hrs a week to meet her at the bus stop at the end of our driveway, make her a snack and play with her until 6:15 or so. One day a week may involve driving her to speech therapy, currently tbd. Reliable transportation is a must for this role. Our home is well set up for her to have plenty of indoor and outdoor activities. One parent works from home in a separate part of the home 90% of the time and is available for support. A comfort level with basic first aid is appreciated, and a comfort with following a protocol in the event of a (very rare) seizure is also required. Small dog present in the house, usually stays in the home office.
