About the job
Our family is looking for someone to hang out with our active & awesome 11yo with autism (mostly non-verbal) during elementary school days off. Especially over the upcoming holidays. We'd also be looking for someone FT during the summer. We need someone that can be firm yet fun & be able to handle potential aggressive behaviors calmly & safely. Daily tasks would include preparing simple meals/snacks, school-like daily activities, outdoor play Will need to have valid driver's license, insurance and reliable transportation. We have no pets. No smoking in home. Peanut butter is a main staple food for my picky eater, so we are not able to accommodate anyone with peanut allergies. Prefer someone with experience working with special needs kids. Must pass background check, including fingerprints. We do use a payroll service
