About the job
ABA and/or Special Needs experienced required. 1 Year commitment minimum. Afternoon DAYS/TIMES FLEXIBLE, approx. 3p-8p but a few hrs on Saturdays is required. Must be available to travel with us, approx. 4 separate weeks and/or weekends out of the year. Must enjoy being outdoors, active, creative, take initiative. 12 yr old: developmental delay, Autism, non-verbal, friendly, curious, loves music & exploring, no behavioral issues. Must be comfortable with toilet training and changing diapers. 8 yr old: no special needs, friendly, independent & active. We value communication, timeliness, consistency & setting reciprocal expectations. Most of the responsibility would be for our 12 yr old with Autism. Her sister is quite independent.
