About the job
We're looking for kind, reliable caregiver for after-school. Our 15-year-old daughter with Down syndrome is walky, talky, and pretty independent. She adores reading Percy Jackson books. She likes playing with Legos, games, and puzzles, and she enjoys going to the park and the library. Ideally, she would like a friend to hang out with. Right now, we need after-school care. Then this summer, we will need care for after day camp. Weekend hours are available if you're interested. What we're looking for: * Must be 18+ and pass a background check * Must be patient, compassionate, and able to form a strong connection * Available afternoons/evenings 3-7 days/wk * Online training through the state agency (we will compensate you for your time) I need someone to care until I get home around 5 pm, but caregiver may work later if they desire.
