Soon-to-be first time parents in Grandville are looking for a creative full-time nanny for their newborn daughter, beginning August 11. Baby girl will be around 3-months-old at start of position. Schedule is M-F 8:00-4:00 (one day may switch to a half day) with guaranteed weekly hours. Family is looking for a multi-year partnership as they plan to have another child and would love for someone to grow with their family, but at least a minimum one-year commitment is required. Other requirements for nanny to include prior experience with and confidence caring for infants, Infant CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain), being up-to-date on all recommended vaccinations, comfortable with friendly family dog hanging around the house with you, and excellent attendance and reliability. Nanny will keep a simply daily log to track baby's feedings, naps, and other important notes for mom and dad, will let dog in/out as needed, help with baby's laundry, wash/prep bottles, and tidy up after meals and playtime. Ideal match is someone who has a genuine love for childcare, is patient and understanding, is willing to play and get silly, and fosters learning and supports developmental milestones. Family will employ nanny as legal employee offering $20/hour and will provide generous, competitive benefits such as paid holidays + paid week off between Christmas and NY, an additional paid 2-3 weeks off (mainly over the summer) during family vacations, and a monthly health stipend. Nanny must have safe, reliable transportation and may take little one out on preapproved, age-appropriate outings (park, zoo, beach, etc.). Parents will provide car seat for your vehicle and will reimburse for mileage and expenses to cover such outings and activities.
