About the job
We are seeking a patient, thoughtful, and confident caregiver to join our family and provide after-school care for our son (ages 6). The ideal candidate will share our appreciation for nature and believe in a "play-based" approach to childhood development. This is a part time job, Monday through Wednesday from 2:30-5:30 p.m. Responsibilities include: pick up from their elementary school, assist with any after school work/reading, take them to after school activities, prepare light snacks and meals. In addition to the standard weekly schedule, there will be opportunities for work on other days and nights. We are looking for a long term candidate who could integrate into our family.
