About the job
My husband and I work full time, and our kids are in daycare, but daycare has frequent closures for in-service days, snow days, holidays, etc. Several years ago, we connected with a local SAHM with kids similarly aged to ours who we pay to watch our kids (at her house) on days daycare is closed. It works well because the kids play well together so everyone wins! Most daycare closure days are planned in advance, but we also occasionally ping her last minute for snow days and surprise closures. She just had a baby, so is not available to watch our kids for most of 2025, and I am looking to set up something similar with another family. We are in Grand Rapids. My daughter is 3 years old, and my son is 7 months. We can pay $15-20/hour.
