About the job
I am a child psychologist and my husband is a mail carrier. Our daughter was born 5 weeks early in March 2025, but only spent one night in the NICU, and has luckily been perfectly healthy. We are looking for someone who has experience caring for newborns and is amenable to a somewhat flexible schedule. We will know which days we need a caregiver at least a couple weeks in advance, but the times may change slightly, as my husband never knows how late he will have to work, and my schedule can change last minute depending on patient emergencies or cancellations. Our perfect candidate would also be comfortable with our dog, who won't need much care during the day but will be present (she is friendly to humans, 60 pounds, 10 years old, and spends most of her day laying on the couch).
