Position Overview: Michigan Nanny Solutions is delighted to present a wonderful opportunity for an experienced and energetic Full-Time Nanny to join a loving and dynamic family who is new to East Lansing. This role offers a guaranteed 35 hours per week, from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 3 PM, starting Monday, August 5th, 2024. Your Responsibilities: Daily Care: Provide loving, attentive care to the 1.5-year-old girl, focusing on her emotional, social, and educational needs. Engaging Activities: Create a stimulating environment with fun and educational activities that influence the toddler's development without the use of screen time. Support her social development through playgrounds, story times, and outings. Prioritize daily outdoor playtime to keep her active and healthy. Language Development: Utilize American Sign Language (ASL) to enhance communication and learning. Speaking a second language is a plus! Role Modeling: Be a positive role model, teaching empathy, respect, and kindness through your interactions and activities. Light Housekeeping: Handle child-related tasks such as the toddler's laundry, washing dishes used, and maintaining a clean and organized environment in the child's room and play areas. Encourage the toddler to participate in chores to foster independence and responsibility. Who We're Looking For: Experience: You have at least three years of Professional Childcare Experience working with children ages 0-5, with at least one year of Professional Nanny Experience, from age 18 forward. Skills: You are an engaging, creative, and attentive caregiver who teaches through play and exploration. You have experience teaching and using ASL with children. As a Professional Nanny, you pride yourself on being reliable, trustworthy, and committed to meeting the long-term childcare needs of the families you work with. You are dedicated to open, honest, and ongoing communication with parents. Personality: You are active, fun-loving, friendly, and passionate about making a positive impact on children's lives. Your dedication to their growth and development shines through in everything you do! You have a positive and inclusive outlook on life, and you strive to treat all others with respect, kindness and empathy.
