About the job
Our family of four (+ small dog) is looking for an experienced and patient caregiver to provide after-school care for our two amazing children in our Caledonia home. Our 11-year-old daughter is independent, fun-loving, and always eager to learn new things. Her brother, a sweet and energetic 6-year-old, is on the low end of the autism spectrum, making him highly functional and verbal, yet he occasionally experiences emotional or physical outbursts. We are seeking a kind and compassionate individual who can connect with both children, creating a safe and nurturing environment. Someone who can engage them in creative play, guide them through homework, and support their emotional growth will be essential to our family. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children on the autism spectrum and be comfortable navigating potential challenges. A driver's license is preferred for after-school activities.
