About the job
We are looking for a caregiver for our 6-year-old daughter, who has special needs. We are primarily looking for care over the summer while school is out (June through August) for about 10 hours a week in our home during weekdays. Here's a little bit about C: She has epilepsy, cerebral palsy, and global developmental delays. She is nonverbal and works with an AAC device. She is generally happy and likes to walk around in her gait trainer, play with toys, go for walks in a wagon/stroller, and swing. She needs help with things like eating, diaper changes, getting dressed, etc. She can sit well on the floor and can walk if you hold both hands, but needs help transitioning to other positions, so you would need to be able to lift into her high chair, stroller, gait trainer, etc. She weighs about 48 lb.
