About the job
We are two teachers who are looking for a mature, collaborative, reliable, and caring person who can be part of our family team in the 2024-2025 school year. You would pick our son up from school at 3:15pm, walk or drive him the 5 blocks home, and then care for him until we get back from work. Our son is very warm, lively, and chatty; he loves to be in nature, and we try to let him play outdoors as much as possible. Our ideal person would welcome opportunities to take a walk in the nearby woods, kick a ball, throw a frisbee, or just quietly observe the trees and animals. We are looking for someone who is attuned to children and can respond to their non-verbal cues in addition to words. If agreed on, we may ask for your help starting dinner or preparing a simple meal for our son. Thanks for reading. We look forward to hearing from you!
