West Michigan Nannies is hiring for a temporary position for a 7-week period for a family in Ada with four children (girls 11 & 9 and boys 8 and 3). The position will begin April 14th and will end May 30th. Schedule will be full-time M-F (Tuesdays off) for 10-12 hour days with 6-7 a.m. start times. The three oldest kids will be in school for majority of the day, but nanny should be comfortable caring for all four kiddos, including before and after school time. The youngest attends preschool M/W/F and will be home with nanny for full day on Thursdays. An ideal match for this position is someone that can be silly with the kids and have fun but is also firm and keeps the schedule running smoothly, is flexible, mature, responsible and organized. Prior experience with school-aged children and drop-offs and pick-ups is appreciated. Nanny will be responsible for school/daycare/activity drop-offs and pick-ups, preparing quick, easy meals/snacks, and helping with kids' laundry. Children are well-behaved and love interacting with new people, are generally quick to warm up, and are very social, friendly, and lots of fun. They love all the things kids their age are into such as sports, arts & crafts, playing outside, Legos, playtime, etc. They are fairly independent and follow directions but are still at that age where they need an adult to manage the daily routine and help get to school and activities on time and offer friendly reminders to bring backpacks, lunchboxes, etc. :) Beautiful home located on the river with lots to do inside and outside and nearby local parks and library to enjoy.
