West Michigan Nannies is hiring for a PT after-school position for a family in Ada with four children (girls 12 & 10 and boys 8 and 3). The position will begin mid-July (exact date TBD) and is a long-term position. This is NOT a summer-only employment opportunity. Schedule will be M/W/F from 3:30-6:30. An ideal match for this position is someone that can be silly with the kids and have fun but is also firm and keeps the schedule running smoothly, is flexible, mature, responsible and organized. Prior experience with school-aged and managing different schedules and running kids around is appreciated! Nanny will be responsible for school/daycare/activity drop-offs and pick-ups and preparing a very simple dinner for the kids. Nanny will need to comfortable and confident caring for all four children at the same time, but you will rarely have all together as they have different things going on at different times. For instance, the oldest three have different after-school activities/sports and the youngest attends daycare M/W/F year-round. Children are well-behaved and love interacting with new people, are generally quick to warm up, and are very social, friendly, and lots of fun. They love all the things kids their age are into such as sports, arts & crafts, playing outside, Legos, playtime, etc. They are fairly independent and follow directions but are still at that age where they need an adult's direction to manage the daily routine get to activities on time and offer friendly reminders to bring bags packed with what they need. Beautiful home located on the river with lots to do inside and outside and nearby local parks and library to enjoy.
