About the job
My son is 15 years old and has autism. He is verbal and has a great sense of humor. Our needs are pretty basic: we would need someone to reliably get him off the van in Pownal on Monday-Thursday afternoons, help him get a snack and a drink and help him get settled with a preferred activity. He has lots of things that he likes to do solo but he also likes it when people draw with him. As of right now, we would probably need someone on Monday and Tuesday from 2:45-4:45 or 5. On Wednesday and Thursday, we would need someone from 2:45-3:45. As of now, we have someone who cares for him on Friday afternoons but if someone would be interested picking up a Friday afternoon, we could talk about that too.
