Seeking a part time nanny for my daughters in Cape Neddick (York). R will be 3 in June, and K. was just born in January. I'm on maternity leave until 5/5, so I'm looking for someone to start with R. only while I'm on leave, then take over with both girls when I return to work and K is 4 months old. R. is a bright and inquisitive child, so sweet and loving and fun to be with. She speaks very well, sings all day and loves arts and crafts and pretend play. She loves to go play at our local library and playgrounds and we have a children's museum membership. K. is an easy and happy baby, I mostly baby-wear her all day right now and she's happy to nap that way and on the go. I work from home on Mondays and Wednesdays in a separate home office space, and I work in-office on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday afternoons from 12-5. I'm looking for someone to care for them during my full work from home days, and one office afternoon per week, around 20 hours. They will be with their grandparents during the other times, and there is some flexibility in which afternoon shift you'd take if you have a preference between the 3 options. We also plan to enroll R in a school program 2-3 days a week starting in the fall, so it would be just K during those school hours. I'm looking for someone kind, patient, empathetic and fun to care for my babies. Knowledge of child development is important, as well as experience caring for multiple children at once, toddlers and young babies. My husband and I are very easy going and have enjoyed great relationships with our prior childcare providers. We have previously used nanny, but the annual turnover due to the temporary nature of the program is not ideal, so we are looking for a domestic nanny. Eager to speak with anyone interested, and thanks for reading! We have two black labs, who are very sweet and loving. They are outside all day every day, contained within an invisible fence. They are great with people and gentle around the children. We also have 2 indoor/outdoor cats who will either be sleeping inside or playing outside. Additional needs include being comfortable with pets and a non-smoker.
