About the job
I am a teacher and my husband is a police officer. We are expecting our first baby in August 2025. We will be home with him until the end of January 2026, when we will need care for our (will then be) 5-month-old baby boy. My husband switches between day/night shifts every 2 weeks. Hours for when he's on days would be 730am-3pm, and hours when he's on nights would be 12pm-5 p.m. Due to his schedule, most weeks would likely be about 4 days a week for care. It is not often that he is off weekends and we'd need help all 5 days Mon-Fri. We do know his schedule in advance before the start of each month. We're hoping to find someone sweet and helpful who is willing to love our baby like family and doesn't mind the occasional tidy-up help before hubby or I get home from our long days.
