About the job
Description: A personal caregiver needed to assist and be a companion for a young woman with autism. The client moves independently in an electric wheelchair. CNA or CMT is preferred but not required required. Days: Mondays, every other Saturday, Sunday (8:30-10:30) Duties: Drive client to therapy appointments as needed, must be comfortable driving a minivan with accessible wheelchair ramp provided by the client, accompany the client in outings such as going to the mall, park, and library. The client loves to gossip, chattier the better. Basic Qualifications: A caring person experienced and comfortable working with individuals with intellectual disabilities. Must have clean background check results and a valid driver's license.
