Direct Support Provider

Adult male (23 yrs old) searching for an, outgoing, high-energy Direct Support Professional for flexible weekend hours. Individual has a developmental diagnosis and requires 1:1 support at all times to facilitate independence and ensure personal safety. Primary goal is to assist the individual with gaining independence in all aspects of his daily living routines and participating in meaningful social/recreational activities. Great opportunity for professionals in the field or college-aged students who are exploring a career path in special education, therapy, psychology, social work, or disability support services). Ideal candidate has experience working with individuals diagnosed with developmental disabilities and working with behavior plans, positive behavioral supports, and positive reinforcement strategies.
