About the job
Location: Potomac, MD. Hours: 2:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. (5 hours/day), 4 days per week (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday). We are expecting a new baby in early October 2025. Hours and duties may expand to full Nanny once the new baby arrives. Rate: $25/hour. Requirements: - Fluent English and good communication skills. - Must be able to drive and have a clean driving record. - Previous experience working with elementary school age children. - References from last 3 employers. - Must agree to background check. Duties: - Pick up 5-year-old and 8-year-old (our kids) and 5-year-old classmate/neighbor (carpool) from same school (12 min drive away). - Drop off neighbor's child at their house on way home (2 min away from our house, in same subdivision). - We provide our own car. - Help kids log on for online afterschool classes - Pack lunches for the kids for the next day - Daily light cleaning (dust, broom, mop, kids' bathroom) and dishes. We have cleaners come once a week. - All meal prep for household. - Laundry for the whole household. - Help keep the entire house tidy and organized. - Run occasional errands
