He enjoys playing video games and eating, but he also needs guidance in developing practical skills such as properly getting ready, ironing clothes, doing laundry, washing dishes, preparing meals, using household appliances, and completing other basic chores. The ideal person will have experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, be encouraging and hands-on, and have a structured but flexible approach to teaching. A background in occupational therapy, special education, or caregiving would be a plus.
