Occasional Babysitter For Active 6 Year Old With ASD

Our child is an active boy with ASD. He uses a device and body language (taking your hand, reaching, etc. to communicate his wants and needs. He enjoys running outside at playgrounds, jumping on the trampoline, going to shops, eating French fries, watching his tablet and tickles. Although he moves like a 6-year-old, our son is cognitively at a 18month to 2-year-old level. He needs hands on support related to safety in the community and bathroom. We are looking for someone who has weekend availability. We have one older, friendly black lab. Previous experience caring for child on the spectrum, CPR & First Aid Cert, advanced knowledge of AAC, pursing training or a degree in special education, and/or additional skills will be considered when agreeing on a rate of pay.
