About the job
Hi! We're looking for a full time (36 hours/week) nanny to watch 2 sweet and curious boys. Looking for someone kind, courteous, upbeat, and someone who enjoys coming up with age-appropriate kids' activities. Must be comfortable with dogs and non-smoker, please. Hours are consistent M-Th, and Friday hours may vary slightly. We value play, exploration, and creativity! We don't use screens with the boys and encourage more imaginative play and reading. The boys love to play with their toys, and are just getting to the stage where they are exploring their environment on foot! very curious and inquisitive and wants to know how things work, especially wheels and gears! sweet and focused, and enjoys playing with his sensory toys that he often puts in his mouth to explore! They both love being walked outside, or any new sensory game/activity! We love when they have art pieces to take home too! A typically day looks like naps, feeding (independent eating in high chair and some snacks throughout the day), diaper changes, and getting them down for naps that often happen at different times. The ideal nanny candidate would be able to handle two boys of similar ages with ease and has the confidence to work with their sometimes different schedules! We are really looking for someone who is kind, optimistic, transparent (with schedules and summaries of the day), creative (able to come up with ideas for creative play) and mature. We want a go-getter who really enjoys children! They are so sweet and fun to be around! We have two dogs - (bulldog, 6 years old) and (lab, 4 years old).does bark and is very excited to see new people but is very calm for the majority of the day and will lay with you on the couch!
