Calling all playful, energetic, and nurturing nannies! A delightful family in Laurel is looking for a part-time superstar to join their team and create magical moments with their soon-to-be 1-year-old daughter! Care is needed on Monday and Thursday from 6am-5 p.m. The family's ideal nanny provides a safe and loving environment, encourages outdoor exploration, and can be structured yet adaptable when needed. Candidates who speak another language (Spanish or French preferred) and have a college degree are encouraged to apply! In the beginning, grandma will be present in the home on Mondays to offer assistance as needed until the nanny gets their footing. Dad occasionally works from home on Thursdays. Family has two cats who do not need assistance, however, someone comfortable with pets is essential. Family prioritizes health and safety, therefore prefers all care professionals to be nonsmokers. Responsibilities: * Provide loving, attentive, and age-appropriate care. * Plan & engage in creative and educational activities that stimulate daughter's development. * Encouraging physical activity and exploration of the outdoors. * Prepare healthy meals and snacks, ensuring her dietary needs are met. * Confidently manage daughter's nut allergy, knowing the signs and being ready to act (epi-pen training provided!) * Assist with tidying up areas of the home used by nanny & child. * Assisting with child's laundry (clothes, bedding, etc.). * Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing environment all times. Ideal nanny: The family's ideal nanny is energetic, patient, and kind. A candidate with strong communication skills, is punctual, reliable, and has a love for being outdoors. Someone who values creativity and enjoys engaging in fun & age-appropriate educational activities. A nanny who has strong communication skills and a proven reliability record. A candidate who is bilingual (French or Spanish) and has a college degree would be a plus!
