About the job
My kids are adopted, so some of our approaches to parenting differ slightly since they have some additional needs. We are very intentional about representation and are also open to learning from the people we bring into their lives. The kids love to be on the move. They are interested in climbing, swinging, exploring, etc. they have lots of energy. They need help with attention seeking and regulation. E is a sensory seeker and likely has ADHD. Otherwise, they are toddlers working on toddler skills. I am looking for someone that is patient, kind, and loves to work with kids that require a lot of their attention. I have a second car with car seats that is not regularly used and is available for your use when here. Our family includes two senior chihuahua mixes, Rusty and Emma. They will make their presence known when someone opens the door, but will also keep to themselves upstairs a lot. Emma is a barker and more isolating. Rusty will hang out after the kids are in bed.
