About the job
Our son is autistic and non-verbal. He's mostly a happy kid but does have challenging behaviors on occasion. He does best with lots of outdoor time and exercise, so you'll be taking him on lots of walks in our neighborhood park. Ideal hours are 2:30-7:00 M/Tu/Th/Fri and 12:30-7:00 Wednesday, but there is some flexibility as well as the opportunity for additional hours if you are interested in that (up to 35 hrs/week) We definitely need care for the next month. It's possible the position could become permanent, we will know more by the end of November. Happy to put your in touch with our previous nanny, who is leaving to return to school, to chat about what it's like to working with us. There is one dog in the house. Our older child will also be around sometimes, but you will not be caring for her.
