Overnight Special Needs Caregiver In Wrentham

Team oriented Wrentham family looking for long-term overnight caregiver for 13-year-old boy with physical disability and epilepsy. 2-3 nights per week- Sun/Mon/Fri are open nights. 6pm-6 a.m. Awake all night. We will train! PCA or CNA experience is a plus, but not required. Our son is a darling, bright, and engaging boy who loves pranks and all things funny. Hobbies include video games, transformers, hot wheels, lego sets and board games. He has a condition called Hereditary Spastic Paraplegia, which causes physical disability He is wheelchair dependent and requires a Hoyer or team lift for transfers, so there are some physical demands. He requires assistance with all things physical. The nighttime piece is mostly repositioning, and monitoring for seizures. Mom is home. Ideal candidates are attentive, patient, fun/silly, and empathetic.
