About the job
Hello! We have a 6-year-old son with autism and are looking for a nanny/babysitter who has experience working with special needs. We only need someone on Fridays this summer as he will be with his daycare provider Tue, Wed, and Thurs. He is still potty training, so our ideal person should be comfortable with changing pull ups and help him practice using the potty. We are looking for a new ABA home service provider and possibly a personal care assistant, so you might have assistance while here. He loves to be outside, loves to be chased, and enjoys water play on hot days. He also likes listening to music and playing his piano. He is verbal, but had limited functional speech. So he can't always tell you how he feels or what hurts if he falls. He can tell you if he wants food or a drink. He's a sweet boy!
