Full-time Household Manager and Nanny needed in Somerville for a busy family with two active boys, ages 5 and 8, starting in early June. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 11am-7 p.m. (could be 6 p.m. during the summer months), with 40 guaranteed hours weekly (occasional date nights and weekend days would be great, but not required). The family would love to find a nanny interested in a long term match (2+ years). A great fit for this role is a proactive, self-starter who takes ownership of the role and can work independently to ensure the home runs smoothly during the day- a strong multi tasker who is organized, diligent, reliable, responsible, trustworthy, and a strong communicator with proven experience in a similar role would work well with this family. With the boys, a nanny who is energetic, engaging, personable, nurturing, supportive, and will take time to invest in the interests of each child. Someone who also loves being active outdoors and planning fun outings would be great! The Family has a snuggly 10-pound toy Poodle so please be dog friendly. Compensation: $35/hour with an optional healthcare stipend and a full paid benefits package and guaranteed hours. All pay on the books through payroll.
