FT Nanny/Family Assistant Location: Somerville, MA Schedule: Monday - Friday, 11:30am-7:30 p.m. Children: 4 and 6-year-old boys Duties: General childcare including engaging children in fun, age-appropriate activities, picking up at school and transporting to/from activities. While the children are in school, Family Assistant duties will include running errands, grocery shopping, family laundry, dinner prep, organizing, loading/unloading dishwasher and general tidying. Requirements: 3+ years of professional Nanny and Family Assistant experience, recent experience caring for school age children, a clean criminal record, and a good driving record. Pets: None Driving/Parking: Driving required, family can provide a car. Home is close to the Gilman Square T stop. Travel: None Additional Information: The older boy has delayed speech but understands and can communicate his needs. Mom and dad are divorced and care will be split between their 2 homes, 1 mile apart. Compensation: $30-35 per hour, taxes withheld, guaranteed hours, 2 weeks paid vacation, paid sick days, paid holidays and a health stipend. Start Date: ASAP but can be flexible for the right person
