About the job
Seeking a caregiver for a 22 yr old young man with multiple disabilities. K is completely blind, has cerebral palsy, (but he does walk), & seizure disorder. He also has acute cognitive delays. But even with all that, he is as happy & well adjusted. K is forever smiling, dancing & giggling. He loves music & his electronic interactive toys, especially his keyboard! He loves listening to books on CD and talk radio. His favorite things are swimming, taking rides in "Dad's Big Truck" & eating. He loves to eat! K also loves to push the carriage at the grocery store. We're looking for caregivers who will keep K safe & assist him with his daily living skills, including toileting, bathing/showering, dressing, meal prep & assistance eating. Also interacting socially & being playful. Playing games & making crafts, going shopping, for ice cream.
