FT Nanny/Family Assistant Location: West Newton, MA Schedule: Monday-Friday, 11am-6 p.m. - flexibility to shift hours to later for one date night per week would be ideal. Family can also be flexible on hours and can provide 30-40 hours per week based on the candidate's needs. Children: 4 and 7 years old Duties: General childcare including engaging the child in age and developmentally appropriate activities, family laundry, straightening up in the morning, organizing, preparing meals, running errands, amazon returns, and dry cleaning. Family Assistant duties will be completed while children are in school, after school the focus shifts to caring for and interacting with the children. The Family has a weekly housekeeper for deep cleaning. Requirements: 3+ years of professional childcare experience including recent experience caring for school-age children and a clean criminal and driving record. The ideal nanny is reliable, energetic, and actively engages with children while maintaining a clean, organized environment and taking initiative. Must be fully vaccinated including Tdap, Covid and flu. Pets: None Driving/Parking: Driving is required. Parking is available. Family will provide a car to transport the children. Travel: There may be an opportunity to travel, but it's not a requirement Additional Information: Both parents work a hybrid schedule. When working from home parents will be in a separate office. Compensation: $30-$35 per hour, taxes withheld, guaranteed hours, 2 weeks paid vacation (1 week must overlap with the family), paid sick days, paid holidays and a health stipend or use of nanny vehicle 24/7 for personal use, is negotiable.
