FT Nanny/Family Assistant Location: Newton, MA Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am-4 p.m. Children: 5 months and 1. 5 years old Duties: Providing household support for a busy family of four. This position is a combination of both Nanny and Family Assistant and responsibilities include tasks such as tidying the kitchen, running errands, grocery shopping, letting the dogs out into the yard, laundry, occasional meal preparation, maintaining household organization, and restocking supplies. Additionally, you will be responsible for transporting the children to and from school and activities. The family has a weekly house cleaner for deep cleaning. Requirements: The ideal candidate will have some experience as a Nanny/Family Assistant but the family is also open to a candidate who is earlier in their career, along with a clean criminal record and excellent driving record. The position requires someone who is loving, flexible, reliable, proactive, and organized, with the ability to collaborate as part of a team with mom. Candidates must also be vaccinated for Covid. Family would like to grow their family in the next year or so and is hoping to find a Nanny who is looking for a long term position. Pets: 2 dogs - family has a dog walker Driving/Parking: Driving required. Must be willing to use own car to transport the children. Parking is available. Travel: Some overnights when both parents are traveling and occasional travel with the family. Additional Information: Mom is home and also going to school. She takes an active role in caring for the children and looking for a partner who can assist with both childcare and family assistant duties. Compensation: $30-35 per hour, taxes withheld, guaranteed hours, 2 weeks paid time off, paid holidays and paid sick days. Start Date: ASAP
