About the job
We are looking for a temporary nanny while we visit the Boston area for an extended work stay. Our daughter is 3 and usually in full time preschool. She can be reserved at first but then becomes very outgoing, assertive, and silly. She may not be napping consistently by summer. She's extremely verbal and socially aware. The ideal nanny will have a kind and patient approach, with a play-based or Montessori background or style. Father will be in the house (an rental) working from home. Mother will be out of the house working. Our 6-year-old medium sized dog will be in the home too. He is friendly with adults but not other dogs. This is our first summer with an extended stay in the area, but we plan to return every summer for the foreseeable future. If all goes well, we'd love to have the same person care for our daughter each summer.
